We are called to be both a sign and an instrument of the kingdom of God. We are a racially and ethnically diverse group of people who love the Lord and want to bear good witness to the kingdom. Our ethnic heritages currently include Anglo, African American, Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, Singaporean, Hong Kong, Vietnamese, Filipino, Korean and Mongolian.
We desire to be a window into the kingdom that compels others to come be one in Christ with us. Ultimately there is only one church. We are members of a global communion of Christians from multiple nations and backgrounds.
We celebrate both the unity in Christ and the diversity that emerges in understanding and respecting ethnic differences amongst believers.
Our English worship service on Sunday begins at 10:30 a.m. The Japanese language service is at 2:00 p.m. There is a joint worship service every fourth Sunday of the month at 10:30 a.m., followed by a potluck lunch at noon. This is a great fellowship opportunity through conversations over meals, game of sports such as table tennis and badminton, and other activities.
Some of our regular outreach activities during the weekdays are classes of English as Second Language, Accent Reduction, Music and Cooking.
Theological education is also our focus (Colossians 1:24-29). We are thankful that the Lord has provided Crossroads for such a time as this. Our goal is spiritual formation and maturity in Christ, and our means is theological education. To God be the glory!
