Sunday Morning Worship Reopening!
It has been two months since we gathered at Crossroads, for worship. After much prayer consideration, the Session of Crossroads has decided to resume the in-person English morning worship this Sunday, June 7, 2020.
The afternoon Japanese language worship will continue on Zoom until further notice. ESL classes, Bible studies, and prayer meetings are continuing online.
Although the virus has not yet been eradicated, churches are allowed to open with guidelines. We are grateful for small steps towards normalcy but we must tread carefully for everyone’s health and safety. We will continue to seek heaven’s wisdom moving forward and keep pace with our government’s guidelines. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to exercise care and love for each other.
What will it look like?
• Worship at 10:45 a.m. Due to health check and seat assignment, please plan on arriving prior to 10:30 a.m. Since we will have live streaming, worship will begin promptly at 10:45 a.m.
Should I come?
• Those who are healthy and comfortable attending in-person worship should consider coming or feel free not to attend.
• Congregants who are recovering from illness, or are immunocompromised should refrain from attending. Live streaming will continue through this period of social-distancing.
• Congregants, 65 or older, are advised to consider worshipping at home during these early days of reopening.

• There will be temperature screening, and health screening questions will be asked at the door.

Worship is vital to the lives of believers. There will be times when the freedom of corporate worship is not possible or when it’s curtailed in times of pandemics, wars, or amid religious persecutions. We are glad that the unity of the Church is in the Holy Spirit. Let us maintain this unity because we are the children of God. We are told by the Apostle Paul to exercise the gift of the Spirit that is in all Christians to extend grace, love, and understanding towards those who choose not to be present and place the welfare of those who are present before our own. We are One despite our physical distance and we belong to Christ and each other!
